Outfit

I *think* this might be the bring my baby home outfit :) I am STUCK on purple so it's been a hunt and the fact that I can't get out and shop makes me even more limited, but thank goodness for EBAY! Let me know what you think by posting a comment :)

The purple sleeper in this picture is on its way to me :)
as is this beautiful purple blanket to wrap her up in :)

I have a purple hat already and plenty of onsies to pick from...so I think i'm done :)
I need to SEE the sleeper and blanket first though, hopefully they will get to me soon!

More Baby Things

So before all this craziness I put in an order with Walmart for some more baby things. I bought a play mat for our little one :) Although it was misrepresented it's still super cute and very bright for baby's development :) I don't have a picture of that. I do have one of Nybbles trying out the new baby bath tub. Which is posted above :) I also found a crib sheet that has the SAME little animals as the fabric I bought for the baby crib set I made :) I also got to buy matching receiving blankets!! Since i'm bed ridden I will be doing more shopping online :)

Baby Clothing

Thus far I have bought all sorts of cute little outfits. Some in green, blue, and few in yellow. Ebay has been awesome to get great clothes cheap! Like this cute little snow suit that will probably be apart of the babies coming home outfit...since it will be born in April and probably a little cool. THis will keep the little one warm in the car seat :)

I went today to see what Kmart had on sale and I found onsies for $1 each! And they are organic just for you dad!

Changing Table

We don't have the room to have a changing table so instead I made a changing station on top of the new baby dresser. I think this is the tail end of things I need to make for the baby :)

Finally Done!

So this one took me FOREVER since I sewed the whole thing by hand...and it wasn't as simple as adding on a border.

Nybbles had to check it out to see if it was good enough...apparently it is, since she is now sleeping soundly in a ball on the blanket.

More Baby Stuff...

Here are a few more pics of some other pieces we've bought. The following two are actually a set. Joshalynn went for a short stroll in the new stroller :)

Abigail wanted in on the spotlight so she nestled herself into the infant car seat :)

Joshalynn

By baby doll from when I was little thought she would try out some of the new baby stuff...

Here she is in the bassinet. She liked the mobile.

Here she is trying out the highchair. This is in the reclined back position while keeping the tray straight :) Doesn't it seem so big!

She never made it in the stroller...instead she crashed for a much needed nap.

This is the first baby outfit I bought for our little one:
As Jason would say: DUCKIES!

Crib Adventure

Jason put the crib together last night :) I supervised. He did a pretty good job just a little mishap with not reading that he should REPEAT a certain step to the other side. The crib has an electronic mobile and vibrating feature. Not sure how our little one will like either. We've decided that he or she will go directly into the crib after birth since we just don't really have the space for a separate bassinet. I thought the play pen thingy would work since it's also a bassinet but it's WAY to big. So the little one will take it's daily naps in the bassinet we have in the living room and sleep in the crib at night.

I've also finished work on the baby's quilt. It's just a cut and sew quilt but it was the cutest set i've seen. I need to later work on the bumper, fitted sheet, and diaper stacker. Which will all match the quilt.

Baby Shopping!

We went shopping at Target since they had a huge sale on baby things :) We bought the following items:
This little contraption is a bassinet, playpen and diaper changing station all rolled into one. It also is portable :)

This piece of joy is a Space Saver Highchair. It attaches to any old kitchen table chair. It reclines for when you are feeding a tiny infant. And it later changes to a booster seat!

This stroller/car seat combo is nice. This isn't the one exactly we have but ours is dark blue.
Ahh and at last the crib. This comes with everything you see except the bedding. It has a mobile and rolling drawer under the crib.
